Terms of Service

Worlderous is a writing workspace for manuscripts, story planning, Google Docs sync, Local Vault files, optional AI assistance, review workflows, and optional billing features.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure, for choosing what storage connections to enable, and for reviewing any AI or tool output before accepting it into your work.

You retain ownership of manuscripts, notes, characters, worldbuilding records, project memory, uploaded media, prompts, and other content you create or provide.

You grant Worlderous the limited permission needed to operate the app: displaying, editing, importing, exporting, syncing, processing, and transmitting your content only as directed by your actions and enabled features.

You are responsible for having the rights needed for any content you upload, paste, connect, generate, save, publish, or export.

Google Docs and Drive features operate only after you connect a Google account and choose or create files. Worlderous uses the narrow Drive file permission for files it creates or files you explicitly select.

Local Vault operates only after you choose a local folder through your browser. Worlderous will not silently overwrite local and cloud versions when both have changed; you must choose how to resolve conflicts.

AI features are optional and may use third-party providers such as Google, Vertex AI partner models, or OpenAI, depending on the model and access mode you choose.

AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate, original, non-infringing, safe, or suitable for publication. You must review and edit AI output before relying on it.

Worlderous does not silently switch providers when a request fails. A failed provider request ends in an explicit failure state.

If paid features are enabled, prices, credits, subscriptions, managed AI usage, refunds, and payment availability may change over time. Payment processing is handled by Stripe or another disclosed payment processor.

Free Daily AI, if available, is a limited promotional feature with per-user and shared daily limits. It has no Worlderous credit ledger impact.

Do not use Worlderous to break the law, violate the rights of others, distribute malware, attack the service, bypass access controls, abuse payment systems, scrape the app, or submit content you do not have the right to use.

Do not attempt to extract, expose, or misuse provider credentials, Google OAuth tokens, payment data, system prompts, or other security-sensitive information.

Worlderous integrates with third-party services, including Google, AI providers, Stripe, and hosting infrastructure. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Worlderous is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, model behavior, billing processor failures, or provider availability.

Worlderous may change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, prices, quotas, integrations, or availability. Some features may be experimental, preview-only, limited, or unavailable in a given deployment.

Worlderous is provided as-is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worlderous disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.

Worlderous is not a backup service, legal adviser, publisher, literary agent, editor of record, tax adviser, financial adviser, or emergency service. Keep independent backups of important work.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worlderous will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, provider failures, or publication decisions.

You may stop using Worlderous at any time. Worlderous may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, misuse integrations, or if providing the service becomes impractical or unlawful.
